Hey Athletes- the Patriots have a home preseason game this coming Thursday at 7:30pm, which means parking lots open at 3:30 and traffic will start around there if not sooner.
Please keep this in mind as you travel to CFT for the 4pm Kids class, and 5 and 6pm Adult classes
At CrossFit Torque, we believe in the power of community. We know we are all here to help ourselves and each other get stronger every day. That’s why we love CrossFit. That’s why we love CFT.
k4k is a nationwide organization built to build awareness and funds for 2.5 million homeless kids in America. We believe that the strength of CrossFit can make the world a better place. Homeless children are some of the most at-risk individuals in our country. They do not choose their situation and we know their chances of success are significantly impacted by the trauma of being homeless. As children, we are what we experience, so in order to help break the cycle of homelessness, kettlebells4kids is embarking on a nationwide effort to provide opportunities to strengthen their physical, social and emotional skills through the power of active play. We know fitness improves a child’s ability to learn and succeed in school, and building strong children today will create successful communities tomorrow.
Please join CFT and register for the kettlebells4kids WOD on August 22, 2015 at 9am (You do not have to be actively fundraising to participate in the workout!). There is no fee to register and we know there are some pretty amazing prize packages for top fundraisers. Anyone raising $50 or more will receive the 2015 k4k WOD t-shirt too!
Money raised in our state will help the over 30,000 homeless kids in Massachusetts alone!

Hey Athletes, PLEASE read the below updates! It won’t take you more than 3 minutes…
Athletes- we would love to have the @Resiliency Project here at CrossFit Torquethis Monday from 8-11am. They have been in the CrossFit community for years, helping athletes recover.
Here’s a message from Kaitlin on what they do:— I will teach athletes to mobilize tissue that is stuck.
— I will use instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) tools to address soft tissue irregularities, to improve range of motion and/or relieve pain; Can break up scar tissue as well.
— I will use electronic muscle stimulation (EMS) for the benefit of neuro muscular re-education & to address general muscle soreness and recovery. Goal is the normalization of tissue through the movement of nourishment and waste
Athletes can sign up for 15 or 30 min time slots! She will be here THIS Monday from 8-11am
-15 min session is $25
-30 min session is $45
