Hey Athletes, PLEASE read the below updates! It won’t take you more than 3 minutes…

1. Self Defense Seminar – RESCHEDULED! Summer is a busy time, we are going to reschedule this to the fall time – keep an eye out for the date!
2. Mobility Class: Tuesday August 4, 7pm with Coach Emily!
3. “DT for Dawn” Fundraiser – co-owner of CrossFit 508 (down the street in plainville) was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer last month – they are putting on a fundraiser for her on Aug 15 – it’s the workout “DT” – if you have time, please head over there to participate and hang out – here’s the Facebook link:
4. k4k Wine Tasting – one of our official fundraisers for k4k! wine tasting down the street (beer and cocktails also available), raffles & silent auction – join the Facebook event and buy tickets here! anyone and everyone are welcome! please invite friends and family
5. k4k official Fundraiser at Torque k4k has been working hard to go from a MA based non-profit, to nationally known in under a years time! It has been a great adventure thus far – help us make 2015 a better fundraising year than 2014!
The best part about the day – you can participate in the k4k WOD – to be announced this week! I’ll give you a hint…its a 9 min AMRAP…. we would love if you can to workout, donate, or just hangout and socialize! Event starts at 9am; heats start at 9:15am and go every 15 min. We would love to have your kids do the workout (obviously scalable!) at 10am
Don’t forget – for every $1 that is donated to CFT’s team, Amanda will row 1 calorie… so far we are up to 2,279 calories….donate here if you can’t make it! 
6. TorqueNation Devastation Comp –   we need judges and volunteers please! volunteers can help out any amount of time on Sun Sept 13. Judges – please would love for you to be there 8am-3pm. CFT will give you a shirt/tank to wear, and take care of your lunch. Please sign up here if you can help us out! It’s a really fun and great day!
