4 Ingredient Energy Protein Bar

These bars are super easy to make and they keep well in the fridge for about 5 days. They can help crave a sweet tooth but still provide fiber, healthy fat, fiber, and protein.

Prep Time: 10 minutesCook Time: 20 minutesServings: 9

Ingredients:

3 ripe Bananas

½ cup peanut butter (you can use whatever nut butter you like)

2 cups oats (I use quick oats)

½ cup chocolate chips

**Optional: You can add a scoop of protein powder to increase protein content. I used Ascent Whey Protein, chocolate flavor.

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375. Grease 9×9 pan with non-stick spray.
  2. Process the bananas, protein powder and I added just a splash of milk, until smooth. You can also use a blender.
  3. Mix together the batter with the oats and chocolate chips until combined.
  4. Scoop the batter into the pan and spread out evenly.
  5. Place tin in the preheated oven and bake for about 20minutes. Allow it to cool and cut into 9 squares.
