Hey Torque Nation! Coach Cam here with some insight that I wanted to share with you.
There are 61 days between the end of October and the end of the year. For the purpose of our topic today, we’ll refer to those 61 days as the “holiday season.”
For most, myself included, the hardest time to stay on the fitness train. The amount of social events, holidays and celebrations fro, now to the end of the year is staggering and I want to make sure we all get to enjoy them while not ending up back in the realm of “I shouldn’t have eaten/done that.”
A key to keep on track this holiday season is preparation. Just like you would prepare your luggage for a big trip we want to prepare our lives through the end of the year. Here’s what I want you to do: look at your calendar from now to 12/31 and pick out 5-6 days that you are knowingly going to be able to indulge.
Have that extra (responsible) cocktail. Grab a second slice of pie. Go back for seconds. Pick the events that mean the most to you and use those days as indulge days. The key to this is going to be not getting on yourself about it afterwards because you ate more than you planned or had that extra drink at the holiday party.
