Congrats Erin on being Torque’s April Member of the Month!
Member Since: December 28th 2025
“Erin joined us just a few months ago and what an impact she’s already made. She hops around from early morning to late morning classes, getting to make friends with members from both classes. Always ready to push herself in a workout, Erin is a great addition to the gym. She also jumped with both feet in during our Intramural Open dressing up each week based on the theme and always cheering everyone on! We can’t wait to watch her to continue to grow here!”
-Coach Amanda
Meet Erin! I ran the Boston Marathon 2 times as a charity runner for Cardinal Cushing Centers, where my little sister was a student at the time. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family!
What was it about CrossFit Torque that made you want to join? I reached out to Coach Amanda after hearing my gym was closing. Before my gym closed, I tried a drop-in class at Torque and everyone in the class was so welcoming and the coaches were so supportive even though I was just dropping in for 1 class, wasn’t a member, and they may never see me again.Â
What has kept you coming back to Torque day after day? The Torque community and coaches. They are unlike any other. Favorite thing about Torque is the community. It is unlike any other. From the second I came for a drop-in class, people treated me like they had known me for years and never made me feel like the new person. The coaches make each workout meet you where you are at and help push you to be better each day.Â
What is your proudest accomplishment so far? Feeling stronger and healthier in general. Consistently making it to 6 am classes 3 days a week.Â
What has been your biggest challenge? Pull Ups!
Do you have a favorite movement? Deadlifts or back squats.Â
What piece of advice would you give to someone who might be hesitant to start CrossFit but hasn’t yet? Just join Torque! There is no intimidation factor at Torque. The community will always encourage and help you from day the second you walk in the doors.Â
If you could have a superpower what would it be? Teleportation. It would make my day as a visiting nurse much more efficient and give me more time outside of work. Â
