The benefits of strength training go much beyond improved athletic performance and muscular gain. Strength training can be very important for the general health and development of youngsters. I put together an e-book that examines the value of strength training for teenagers, emphasizing both the psychological and physical advantages, as well as the benefits of working with a coach or personal trainer.

Strength training is essential for teens for several reasons. During adolescence, the body undergoes significant changes, including rapid growth in bones, muscles, and connective tissues. Strength training can support these changes by:

  • Enhancing Muscular Development
  • Supporting Bone Health
  • Improving Metabolic Health
  • Increased Muscle Mass
  • Improved Strength & Endurance
  • Enhanced Coordination & Balance
  • Reduced Risk of Injury
  • Boosted Confidence & Self-Esteem
  • Improved Mental Health
  • Better Focus & Academic Performance
  • Stress Release

Here is where the Coaches at Torque come in. We have three ways to work wtih the Teen in your life (whether it your child, niece/nephew, neighbor or friend):

  • Generalized Teen Group Class
  • Small Group Training (6 or less)
  • Personalized Training

Not only do we focus on proper technique and form, we provide education and knowledge, motivation and accountability, a supportive environment and will adjust the individualized programming based on progress and what we see.

If you want a copy of the e-book I created, please reply back with “YES PLEASE!” and I will get that sent over right away. If you want to learn more about our programs for Teens, please reply back with “MORE INFO” and I will connect with you!

Thanks for taking the time to read this – we are passionate about helping others be stronger and happier individuals, and we all know the teenage years are a perfect place to start.
