Holy transformation Meg!
Look at this girl – on the left is Jan 2020 … a time when Meg was eyes deep in her work, trying to prove herself in her 20s at her Boston based accounting job. Stress was high; Days were long; and self care was low.
A little history, Meg has been part of the Torque family since May 2016! She moved to the city in Fall of 2017 and thus switched to a new CrossFit gym.
Flash forward to March 2020 when times forced Meg back to her hometown. That didn’t stop her from continuing to attend virtual classes at her previous CrossFit gym. She reached back out to us in June, when we opened back up for outdoor classes … she was ready to trade her weighted water jugs, for a barbell.
You can clearly see what 16 months of dedicated fitness can do. But also need to give Meg credit for the other side of the coin – the nutrition. Quarantine didn’t make it easy for anyone, but she she knew she’d have to keep herself in check, and that she did (minus the Easter Cadbury eggs #ItsAllAboutBalance )
HUGE congrats to Meg …. we are so proud of all you have accomplished. You can see the gains visually, but also mentally, and physically inside the gym walls.
Keep it up, make 2021 your year! @cavanaughmegan92
