What is the “CrossFit Total (CFT)” you may wonder? According to CrossFit, Inc. “the CrossFit Total reflects an athlete’s functional strength capacity more accurately than any other test. It is the sum of the best of three attempts at the [back] squat, the press, and the deadlift.” You complete a 1-1-1 for each the back squat, press and deadlift (with a few warm-ups before hand).
