"I first began personal training with Coach Sara a few months after I started at Torque because I wasn't able to join a squat speciality session. Three years later and I still work with Sara once a week. Having the extra individualized attention has allowed me to address specific muscle weaknesses/imbalances as well as work on specific movements/skills. After 6+ months of working on upper body and kipping pull-ups, I was finally able to do them during last year's CF Open. I am way more comfortable and confident in classes given the extra coaching. About a year into my CF journey, I decided this investment in myself was not only beneficial for my physical health, but also my mental health. I was committed to finding a way to make it financially viable, so I got a part-time job. I look forward to my PT sessions each week and trust Sara will have programmed for exactly what I didn't know I needed! The sessions are tough but effective. And in the next day or so, Sara can always count on an email or text from me telling her how sore I am! And her response is always 'good, those are the muscles we were working on.'
