I’ve been in the fitness industry as both a patron and provider for the past 10 years. I’ve noticed that it is very popular to convince the general public that “fitness is an easy, judgment-free world. It’s nothing to overcome your challenges if you just get started.”
Coach Amanda (and her team) have given their clients a more realistic perspective. When pushing a sled, climbing a rope, or squatting a barbell, you can see, taste and smell the difficulty. You KNOW that there will be times where you succeed and/or fail. The only constant are the coaches at Torque to praise or push you when you need it. Real life is not a cake walk, why should your workouts be?I’ve been with these guys for several months now …. I have no idea how much weight I’ve lost. Not a clue what I can bench. Don’t even ask my body-fat percentage. I do know that I have more energy, my motor skills have improved, and I have better balance and flexibility.
