If you’ve ever walked into a gym and thought:
“I have no idea what I’m doing…”
“Everyone here already knows what to do…”
“I’m too out of shape to start now…”
You are not alone.
Many women in their 40s and 50s feel intimidated by traditional gym environments — especially if they’ve never strength trained before.
At Torque Health & Fitness, Home of CrossFit Torque, we’re changing that. Here’s how we make Strength Training Comfortable and fun!
Our Saturday Women’s Strength Class was designed specifically with you in mind: women who want to get stronger, feel better, and build confidence — without feeling lost or judged in the process.
Here’s how we make it feel safe, welcoming, and supportive:
No wandering around trying to figure out what to do.
Your coach will walk you through every warm-up, lift, and movement so you know exactly what’s happening — and why it matters for your body.
You’re surrounded by women working toward similar goals. Some are beginners. Some are returning to fitness. Some are here because they’re navigating perimenopause and want to feel good again.
You’ll never feel like the “odd one out.”
This isn’t bootcamp.
This is strength-focused training, built on foundational movements like squats, presses, deadlifts, and rows — all scaled to your level and ability.
You’ll work hard — but safely. And you’ll leave each session feeling accomplished.
We hear this all the time:
“Let me get a little more fit, then I’ll join.”
But that’s exactly why we exist — to help you get started.
You don’t need to prep. You just need to show up.
We’ll take care of the rest.

Our 6-week Women’s Only Strength Class meets Saturdays at 10am starting Saturday, July 12.
It’s perfect for women who:
Spots are limited to keep the group small and personalized.
