I was having dinner with someone the other day. We talked about all the usual stuff, life, work, family, the Patriots being ‘good again’- it was a great chat!

But, one theme kept popping up: how weirdly hard it is for most adults to talk about what they eat. On top of that, how hard it is for them to make changes.

Think about it, we’ve eaten over 30,000 meals in our lifetime. [No, we didn’t sit and count!]

You’d think we’d have this part of adulting down.

Here’s the thing, nutrition should be simple. But the U.S. food industry has turned it into a full-time puzzle.

But saying, “Hey, let me coach you on how to eat” feels just as awkward as saying, “Hey, let me teach you how to walk.”

Yet people still ask:

  • Is protein good?
  • Are carbs evil again this week?
  • Should we be paleo, keto, or “whatever-TikTok-says-today-o”?

Let’s back it up.

  • Start with this:
  • More things from the ground than from shelves.
  • An easily identifiable protein at every meal.
  • Fiber, prioritize it, but don’t go zero to sixty overnight. You’ve been warned 😉

That alone gets you 70% of the way there.
If you want to go faster or just not overthink every bite come talk to me, or one of our nutrition coaches: Sara or Ashley.

We’ll help you figure out how to eat for results minus the confusion.
