“I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Morgan! (like I also cannot call her ‘Morgan’ without saying doctor every single time haha). But truly – every interaction with her is fulfilling. On a professional level, she and Evolve are my go-to referral as I know first hand how amazing and healing they are. I am constantly grateful for her being ready and willing to impart all of her knowledge when I have questions about a member’s movement patterns. And when Amanda & Sara (lovingly) bullied her into doing the CrossFit Open, she jumped right in and CRUSHED the workouts! So awesome to watch! Thankful for our in-between client/class chats! See you in a Group Class soon :)”
– Coach Mary

Meet Dr. Morgan! I am a mom of 3 kids and 1 dog, married to my high school sweetheart, born and raised in this area (Medway). I went to a vocational high school and thought cosmetology was for me (way wrong), but it allowed me the experience to shadow in the medical field and I found Physical Therapy. Double Husky and Northeastern (where Dr. Siusi and I met). My favorite hobbies are reading, puzzles, hikes, being at the beach.

What was it about CrossFit Torque that made you want to join? I have always loved the stories of community from within the CrossFit community but stepping in to this one specifically in June 2024 made it very clear – there is a reason people come to stay for so long. The laughter and support is unmatched no matter what class type you do.

What has kept you coming back to Torque day after day? I love the atmosphere, the encouragement from the coaches and learning more about my abilities/ how to push myself more. From Personal Training with Sara to Dumbbell Class, it is all fun and yet incredibly challenging in the best way.

What is your proudest accomplishment thus far? Completing the Intramural Open with POTS (also known as my heart rate goes nuts). I am always weary of pushing myself too hard and being down for the count. But I was able to pace it and keep moving.

What has been your biggest challenge? The biggest challenge is letting myself slow down and take breaks to let my body keep moving. There are days I cannot lift as heavy and I am learning that it doesn’t make me a failure if I just keep moving.

Do you have a favorite movement? I love anything gluteal based.

What piece of advice would you give to someone who might be hesitant to start CrossFit but hasn’t yet? I would say that the hardest part is walking in, and from there they will guide you to your individual path. There is no “one size fits all” in the fitness world, so just give it a try.

If you could have a superpower what would it be? Maybe tacky but I would love the gift of healing – both physical and emotional.
