Tell us about you! What is something other members may not know about you?
Proud member of CrossFit Torque living close by with my husband, Evan (fellow CFT member), and our dog, Bradley! You can typically find me outdoors – mostly walking Bradley or taking him on hikes with us! I also am always up for a game of pickleball! If I’m not outside I am probably either reading a book or trying out new restaurants with my girlfriends in the city! 

What was it about CrossFit Torque that made you want to join? 
New to the area, I set out to find a place where I could stay active and connect with a community. Enter CrossFit Torque. From the moment I walked in, I found myself immersed in an atmosphere of camaraderie and genuine laughter, both before, after and even DURING class. It’s a space where everyone supports each other in reaching their fitness goals, no matter what they may be. Despite always leaving class completely exhausted, I am always looking forward to the next one!

What is your favorite thing about Torque? 
One thing I love about CFT is the lack of judgment. Whether I need to modify an exercise due to personal limitations or simply to challenge myself differently, the coaches are always understanding and quick to offer alternatives that target the same muscle groups.

What is your proudest accomplishment thus far? 
My proudest accomplishment is adding 30 lbs onto my deadlift since the Summer!
 
What has been your biggest challenge?
My biggest challenge was taking a month off in January for surgery and getting back into the swing of things. Transitioning from intense workouts to limited activity was tough, but with the unwavering support of the coaches, I gradually regained my strength and even surpassed my previous capabilities.

 What piece of advice would you give to someone who might be hesitant to start CrossFit but hasn’t yet?
For anyone hesitant about joining, my advice is simple: take the leap. The coaches at CrossFit Torque are not only welcoming but also incredibly knowledgeable, ensuring that you feel right at home from your very first class.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? 
If I could have a superpower, it would undoubtedly be the ability to fly. Would love to fly over the traffic on 95 N every morning  – talk about a time saver 🙂
