I love to hang out with my family, including my husband, Mike, 3 kids (16 year old son – Jacob, 5 year old daughter – Kylie, and 3 year old daughter – Madison), and golden retrieved, Molly. We enjoy boating, going to Washburn Island and Oaks Bluff in the summer. We enjoy skiing and going to the indoor water park in Jay, VT in the winter.
I am blessed to have a career that I love that keeps me busy when I’m not enjoying time with my family.
What about Torque made you want to join?
CrossFit Torque is close to home, has great hours that accommodate my crazy schedule and the quote that was written on the CFT street sign called to me one day.
What has kept you coming back?
The support and comradeship has kept me coming back day after day. The coaches are motivating, energetic and make you feel comfortable with your skill level. The members are encouraging and fun. You immediately feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door (or join the Zoom virtual).
I was a member of CrossFit Torque for only a couple short weeks before the pandemic forced CFT to shift to zoom classes. Even with the unforeseen adjustment, the coaches and members continued to keep the atmosphere fun, inviting and energetic. Zoom classes were held to keep us active and continuing on our path to health and fitness. Additional zoom meetings were held for fun game nights, keeping us close as a community.
CrossFit Torque focuses on health and wellness. Safe exercising for your skill level and strength, or injury, is always encouraged. Proper nutrition is discussed and practiced. Warm ups and stretching for safety and recovery are part of every workout.
And to top it off, Amanda shows her members so much love and support. She focuses on the positive, and calls out weekly accomplishments and milestones for all to see. She even takes the time to hand write notes when you hit a great milestone or accomplishment!
CrossFit Torque truly provides a great experience that makes me feel amazing overall.
What is your proudest accomplishment thus far?
I have accomplished quite a lot in such a short time with CrossFit Torque. My proudest accomplishments thus far are running a mile in under 9 minutes, finally getting double-unders, and getting rope climbs. I believe that the atmosphere and support have provided me the confidence I needed to push myself for each.
What has been your biggest challenge?
My biggest challenge so far is double-unders. I can now string 15-20 together in a workout. The encouragement to continue to improve this skill is empowering, and I’m happy that I’m getting better.
Do you have a favorite movement we do?
I like to do any movement that challenges me. My favorite is probably wall balls.
What piece of advice would you give to someone who might be hesitant to start with us but hasn’t yet?
CrossFit can be intimidating. I would say, come and meet us! We’re friendly and nonjudgmental. We will support you in your goals, and celebrate your wins with you. There is a scale for every strength and skill level, and you can move a pace that you’re comfortable with.
If you could have a super power, what would it be?
I would fly!

I am a masshole born and bred, but I spent 10 years in California right after college. I guess that would qualify as the most adventurous thing I’ve done in my life because I really didn’t know anybody there and I had to build my social life from scratch. After 10 years I decided to come back home, certainly not without the influence of my wife Nicole who I met out there and is from East Coast, but also not without some awesome memories of spending my 20s on the opposite coast.
There are some things I miss about living there and I still have friends that are there, but its a decision I don’t regret at all. I do wish I could say I was a CrossFitter before I left California, because I was just a few miles from where they used to hold the Games each year, but I stuck to what I knew and played a lot of very competitive soccer with guys from all around the world right up until a few months before I left Cali when I had my second knee injury in the course of a few years.
Ironically, I tried to come out of soccer retirement just a few months ago last summer, 6 years later, and ended up with my 2nd torn ACL which I still need to get reconstructed. The cool part is I’ve learned that I can do about 90% of the things we do at Torque without an ACL and with some reasonable scaling here and there. Shout out to the Coaches who are always looking out at Torque!
What was it about CrossFit Torque that made you want to join?
I had exactly one friend who did CrossFit, as I started to understand what it was about, I knew I would like it. I was definitely looking forward to expanding my network of like-minded people around fitness and fun!
What has kept you coming back to Torque day after day?
So, I don’t necessarily consider myself uber competitive because I like to enjoy sports as much as compete, but my favorite part about CrossFit is the ability to measure yourself, try to focus on improving weaknesses (and “scores”), and to always be gaining something out of a workout.
What is your proudest accomplishment thus far?
Tie: finishing 16.2 scaled the second time I did it, and competing at the Southie Showdown in 2017. I finished middle of the pack, but it was my first and only time competing like that and I was really happy with the balance of competition, fun, and focus that was required for jumping into one of the more well known local comps.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Consistency, especially since I’ve taken a few hiatuses in the summers.
Do you have a favorite movement?
I’m going to go with squat cleans, see reference to 16.2 above, and I also REALLY like to program my own workouts and make them challenging or include challenging movements. I was pretty pumped when Amanda let us do my quarantine WOD.
What piece of advice would you give to someone who is looking to start CrossFit but hasn’t yet?
Don’t overthink it, just make the call or show up, chances are you’ll love it, but if you don’t, you’re going to learn some things about fitness and about yourself either way.
Anything else you’d like to share?
CrossFit Torque has supported me and my family in a way I never imagined. When my wife got diagnosed with breast cancer, Amanda had a fundraiser set up within a couple days and the entire community seemed to show up. I really didn’t expect that, but it was full circle from why I was looking to get involved in this type of community, and it has been a blessing. I will forever be grateful and I know my family and Torque will be intertwined forever.

You may already know, I’m a little chatty (voted “most talkative” in high school … total shocker, right?) so I’ll try to keep this short and sweet. I grew up in the little town of Wrentham, Ma with my large family of six, my parents, older brother, older sister, myself and my younger brother, Billy, who most of you already know from CrossFit Torque. My big, loud family has since grown into a crazier, louder, larger extended family that I adore … 99% of the time (wink).
My husband, Scott, is from the city of Somerville, MA (insert thick boston accent), but we moved back to Wrentham to raise our own family. At first it was a culture shock, but 13 years later, he’s adjusting to a ride-on mower vs a plug-in, I never even knew those existed!
We have two amazing kids, Kenzie and Brody, and they keep us busy with many activies and sports. Family is a huge part of my life and fortunately for us, half my family lives on the same street … FOR REAL! My parents live at the end of our street which is great not only for us but the grandkids. FUN-CLE Billy and my BFF/sister in law, Kerri (also known at CrossFit Torque) live on our street (a 200 meter run away). They have three awesome kids, Bradley, Brynn and Brooke, that I love like my own. The cousins rarely go a day without seeing each other and my house is a revolving door. We tend to get a little crazy all together, but it’s the best and I wouldn’t change it for anything!
Fun Silly Facts:
I went to Northeastern University and majored in Graphic Design.
I worked in print design until our second child then decided to stay home to raise our kids.
I love to draw and paint, although I rarely have time to anymore.
Ironically, I met my husband, who doesn’t enjoy working out, at a gym in Cambridge.
I get crazy and cranky by day three if I haven’t gotten some kind of workout or movement.
Math isn’t my strong suit and sometimes adding up my barbell plates seems longer then the workout itself. (lol)
I’m a night owl … in fact I wrote this at midnight!
November 1st means Christmas light stringing and decorating (’cause I am that crazy Christmas lady)
My favorite holiday is Christmas Eve because it’s about family, anticipation and magic.
Summer is the BEST and I live for hot 90 degree days.
My happy place is the beach, specifically Narragansett, Rhode Island.
I enjoy snowboarding mainly for the apre ski (I don’t crush the mountain but I’m always happy I went).
My favorite color is orange.
I have a fear of balloons and I hate balloon animal night at UNOS!
I can’t stand naps.
I’ll always pick salty over sweet – bring on the cheese plate or nachos.
I tore my calf from overuse which led me to try yoga for rehab. At first, I didn’t enjoy yoga at all but I stuck with it and ended up loving yoga so much that I took the 200 hour teacher training.
I’ve been teaching yoga for close to 5 years (hot power vinyassa is my favorite!)
Typically, you’ll find me at the gym, yoga studio, kids sports, shopping mainly at Target (when out of quarantine) or almost always with Kerri causing fun or trouble somewhere.
What was it about Crossfit Torque that made you want to join:
I was taking a variety of classes for years (kickbox, boxing, step, spin, pilates, barre, body pump, any group class) and it felt like I was living at the gym. CrossFit boxes started opening up everywhere and friends/family kept saying “you should try it”! How could I not at least try a workout that offered strength training and high intensity done in an hour or less? My gym was closing down, my body was in a routine so it was the perfect storm to make the change. Today, I find CrossFit and yoga to be the right combination for me. It’s the perfect balance of a great workout and mobility.
What has kept you coming back to Torque day after day? And / or favorite thing:
The community is great. It’s like a little family that looks for you when you don’t show up and encourages you to keep going when you think you can’t go another step. When you are at a larger gym, it’s easy to not show up or take one, two, three days off which then can lead to a week/month, but at Torque, they reach out and look for you! It keeps me accountable to myself and the community. Whether you’re nursing an injury or need to scale for other reasons, the Coaches are great at finding safe yet still challenging alternatives. Every workout can be customized for your needs.
Once you get out of your own head and realize you are there for yourself and no one else, it easy to just show up.
Proudest Accomplishment so far:
Pull-ups! I remember during the CrossFit Open Event somehow they just clicked and I was stringing them. It’s always cool to leave the gym and think I DID IT!
What has been your biggest challenge:
I think if I had to pick a challenge there are two that stand out most. One has been pushing myself to try to go faster, heavier, or try the next level even if that means I get less rounds or time runs out before I’ve finished.
And my second biggest challenge has come from a little shoulder overuse. It’s frustrating to take steps backward but I’ve realized that I can still workout and the coaches are always ready to customize as needed . Although, I may have taken 10 steps back for pull-ups and toes to bar, I’m re-learning movements and finding new ways to engage and strengthen areas. My end goal is to get back on the bar stronger than before.
Squats and Handstands! Front, back, air squats, ANY squats make me feel stronger. My favorite days are handstands (especially handstand walks) for the skill and sprinkled into the workout. It just makes the workout feel fun and fly by.
What piece of advice would you give to someone looking to start Crossfit but hasn’t yet?
Just do it! Someone will likely always be stronger or faster, but you’re there for YOU. The people around you will inspire you to do better and you’ll surprise yourself with what you can do vs what you can’t do. The progressions will make you both physically and mentally stronger.
There’s a first for everything in life so why not give it a try. You have nothing to lose if you try, but you’ll always wonder if you don’t.
There are days that I look at the workout and think, “NO WAY”! The reality is, even if I don’t ‘crush’ the workout, I always leave feeling better than I felt before I walked in the door. And that’s a win.
Something not many may know is that my four years of college I spent it wearing a uniform saluting the flag at 0715 everyday. I went to Massachusetts Maritime Academy, a regimented maritime college in Buzzards Bay to study International Maritime Business. That means I lived with an ocean view for 4 years, making my bed daily, dusting my desk daily, and stripping & waxing my floor 2x a semester. All things I did over 4 years, more than many can say in a lifetime.
Fiance & member Siobhan: How did Siobhan and I meet, well that means you need to turn the calendar back to the summer of August 2006, to a Willie Nelson & John Fogerty (of CCR) concert at Tweeter Center. Now before you call me a uber hippie, I was 16 years old, having just failed my drivers license test because, according to the State trooper, I couldn’t parallel park very good. I was a “grill cook” making $6.75/Hour (frankly I did not know how to even cook eggs) and Siobhan was my “stand leader” in what was my first job ever. I made a fool of myself that evening, yet she still enjoys my company as I continually make a fool of myself on the daily.
What about CrossFit Torque made you want to join? Joining Torque in 2015 was, at the time, one of Siobhan and I’s more “crazy” decisions we probably have ever made that ended up being one of the best decisions we have ever made. Back in 2013-2015, my definition of working out was 10 minutes on the elliptical and a few sets of bench press/bicep curls, yet I wondered why I was in the worst possible shape of my life. CrossFit Torque didn’t look like the type of gym that was full of Body builders and Elite athletes that we certainly were not, and this approachability is what brought us through the door.
Why keep coming back? Day one former Coach Jake & Coach Alex put us through what I realized one day years later was simple 8 minute workout of burpees, air squats, and maybe sit-ups that made my soul die. From then on, I realized that soul crushing workout was what I needed and had been missing since I played football in college. The ability to show up, not have to think or plan a workout, and someone with 100x more understanding of what fitness is and 1,000x ability to show/explain it, is unmatched.
This ability to simply get better at specific things, making what is “hard” now, easy in the future is something I have loved. Torque shows truly that there is no such thing as you can’t, only not yet.
Do you have one moment you are truly proud of? I can’t necessary point to a specific thing I have done that I am most proud of since I have joined Torque, however I am proud that after 5 years of coming to Torque, I still enjoy getting my butt whooped a couple times a week. Despite what the little (sometimes big) voice inside my head says, I still enjoy making Crossfit a priority.
Probably one specific thing was when I could first string double-unders together after the double under clinic. My first handstand was pretty cool considering a guy my size with broken shoulders and a crooked back should not be able to do a handstand.
Okay, so tell us your biggest challenge. The biggest challenge I faced overcoming personally is understanding that I don’t need to “win” a workout nor be the strongest, fastest, or jump the highest. Walking into the door at CrossFit Torque means you have already won, and now you get the opportunity to become strong-er, fast-er, or jump high-er. Everyday you evolve what it means for you to simply be fitter. Torque is a group of some of the nicest humans you can find, with one goal, beating yesterday’s version of themselves today. No one cares who you are, what you background was, or your Fran time, only that you made it in today, and you get to share in the journey together.
What is one of your favorite things to do at Torque? I use to cheat and look at the workout of the day and try to come on the Clean days as I would love doing anything related to cleaning (just not the cleaning done at home). Nowadays I would rather do anything that just gets me moving around in space and have grown to enjoy the things I stink at and used to avoid. Burpees (yup Tom Brady voice LFG!), box jumps, air squats, anything with a dumbbell.
No one ever got better at burpees by doing clean and jerks eh?
Alright, let’s share some advice to those who haven’t yet started CrossFit. Any journey that is worthwhile or valuable is not easy. Mike Tyson’s first punch he ever threw would probably make him sick now seeing it. You don’t graduate college by just showing up on graduation day in a cap & gown. Tom Brady was a 6th round draft pick and a 4th string quarterback on the Pats his rookie year, yet he turned out ok.
In college I was the 5th string center for a 0-10 D3 football team my freshman year (literally I was so bad I couldn’t snap the football). Sophomore year I was no better and was basically relegated to the scout Defense by week one (and we were 0-1). When I was at literally the lowest point on the team (the back-up kicker got more reps then me), and on a team that had lost the last 12 games in a row over the last 3 seasons, it all started to change in my mind as I had nothing to loose.
I started to really work hard and go all out at practice, to the point I got noticed by the defensive coaches. On Sep 13, 2009 my first ever play in a college football game was when I started at nose tackle having the very first tackle of the game week 2 vs MIT. After 3 plays I got my second tackle. On the 5th play, a sweep to my right, in trying to make my third tackle I dislocated my left shoulder and essentially ended my college carrier. Even though I only played 5 snaps and had two tackles, we won the game, and with it a losing culture on our football team.
I would go on to play another game 3 weeks later, but dislocating my left shoulder again. Two weeks after that my first full practice back from injury I broke my right foot, sealing the deal for never putting the pads on again. Despite my rise from the bottom to the top in a short span, I would have never had the chance to do that if I didn’t start someplace, even at the bottom.
My point is this, no one starts out as the best at what they do nor does everyone necessarily become the best, but the journey of getting to something rewarding is what it’s all about.

My Name is Jen LeClerc but still go by Jen S (sorry Zac!) I’ve been a member of CrossFit Torque since Feb 2014. Most people wouldn’t know that I’m a competitive person & that I have an extra rib!
Growing up I was always playing competitive sports. After college, I needed something to do that kept me in shape and felt like a team sport. Leaving work one day, I drove past the new CFT building being built and decided I wanted to try it. I haven’t looked back since.
What has kept you coming back to Torque?
Easy, the people. I drive 40 minutes each way passing 3 other CrossFit gyms because of the coaches and the people. It doesn’t matter how my morning starts; coming to the gym, seeing friends and laughing at some strange product one of us bought on amazon is the best part of my day.
What is your proudest accomplishment thus far?
I feel like I have a couple special moments that make me proud. Every PR and every RX workout still makes me proud of the things my body is able to do – but the day I deadlifted 255lb for 3 reps is the memory that sticks out the most.
What has been your biggest challenge?
My biggest challenge was coming back after 10 months off and trying to pick up where I left off. I had to realize that I was starting back from square one.
Another challenge for me in the beginning was always trying to finish first (competitive, sorry) but realizing how much better I feel when my movements are correct each time.
Do you have a favorite movement to do?
Box Jumps …..LOL… no I’m kidding; it would be Squat Cleans or Hang Power Cleans.
What piece of advice would you give to someone who is looking to start CrossFit but hasn’t yet?
Just try it! The coaches and people are what will bring you back. There is nothing like looking at the people who just went to hell and back on the same chipper as you, laughing because the workout didn’t kill you & knowing they will show up again tomorrow!

We asked Scott to tell us more about him! I am in sales for a financial services and travel pretty much every week. I have 14 year old twin daughters (who I am hoping will start CrossFit after basketball season!). I live in Norfolk and grew up in Norwood; I have lived in MA my entire life with the exception of living in London for 2 years for my job. With work travel and teenagers, I don’t get a lot of time to myself but when I do, I enjoy golf and anything Boston sports related.
What was it about CrossFit Torque that made you want to join? I wanted to change up my workout routine. I had been going to the gym 4-5 days a week and just felt my workouts were stagnant and I was not getting the results I wanted. I was definitely nervous going into the on-ramp program, but Coach Ali and Amanda were amazing and I was hooked!
What has kept you coming back to Torque day after day? The coaches and the members are the best. The support you get on a daily basis is truly amazing. The fact that the workouts are so varied is one of my favorite things about CFT.
What is your proudest accomplishment thus far? My proudest accomplishment is the fact that I can complete the workouts. There are a lot of movements where I struggle because of my mobility restrictions, but the coaches always come up with alternatives for me.
What has been your biggest challenge? Anything that requires shoulder range of motion and mobility. I still have a ways to go but compared to where I was when I first started, it is night and day.
Do you have a favorite movement to do? Anything squat related (just not overhead!)
What piece of advice would you give to someone who is looking to start CrossFit but hasn’t yet? I would just tell them to not be intimidated and that while the WODs are challenging, they are doable. Also that “you lose it if you don’t use it” so get moving!

Hello! I am a brand strategy and global insights consultant by day and founder/president of kettlebells4kids by night. Having worked at Reebok, I did all of the undercover investigation on “these crazy people, who do ridiculously insane workouts” to determine if Reebok and CrossFit would be a good fit. I quickly learned that this thing called CrossFit was simply a group of genuine people united by the desire to help themselves and everyone around them get stronger.
I joined the CrossFit Torque family in November, 2011. I remember walking into CFT for my first 1:1 session with former Coach Kenny and almost cried when I couldn’t even hold my own body weight on the rings! It was a moment I will never forget. I remember thinking, “how on earth can I be this weak?”. I knew that day that I was committed to getting stronger.
From day one there has never been any judgement from the coaches at Torque. Many times I am the last to finish a workout, yet coaches and members are always there with me when I finish. There has never been a time when I have felt embarrassed of giving it my best. While I can get frustrated with myself, the coaches (and members) are always reminding me that every day I show up, I am still getting stronger.
I am proud of many things that I have accomplished. One of the biggest milestones for me was running my first mile on April 16, 2013. It was the morning after the Boston Marathon bombings. Until that day I had always allowed asthma to tell me that I couldn’t run. I remember that morning thinking “…but I can run. I am here today, I have two legs. I can run.” So I ran, one mile at Torque, and didn’t stop for the first time in my life. Flash forward to February 12, 2017 ~ one of my proudest (and one of the hardest) moments was receiving my CrossFit Level 1 certification, followed by CF Kids cert.
I love when a workout involves rope climbs, kipping pull-ups and handstand push-ups (um, one day without 2 ab mats – HAHA!)
I think the biggest challenge for me, is ME. We all have good days and bad. For me it is about not getting frustrated with myself when old (non-CrossFit) injuries flare up and remember I can always scale any movement and still get a great workout!
So, here’s my advice to someone who wants to start CrossFit but hasn’t been able to convince themselves:
You are never too old to start CrossFit. I celebrated my 1/2 way to 100 (a.k.a. 50) a couple of years ago and made a promise to myself that day, after I finally did the ‘Filthy 50’ (workout). I will not let my age define what I can or can’t do. I no longer think of working out as something I have to do – it is something I can do and something I get to do with the encouraging coaches and motivating members at CrossFit Torque.

“I’m a creative & graphic design professional, and I love rugby and heavy metal!
I decided to try CrossFit Torque back in 2014 as an approach to being next-level fit for rugby. Lots of my teammates on the Boston Irish Wolfhounds RFC told me about CrossFit, and we also did quite a bit of pre-season bootcamp-type workouts that interested me. So, when my wife and I moved out to the Wrentham area and got all into kid-family mode, I could no longer commit to rugby and eventually was looking for an alternative to fit my updated lifestyle and responsibilities. And thence came TORQUE!
The awesome coaches, and amazing community is what keeps me coming back week after week. The fact that it’s conveniently located on route one doesn’t hurt either !
I have to say, when I realized I could suddenly climb a damn rope — that blew my mind! I have specific memories of NOT being able to do that when I was in like, 3rd grade or whatever. So to be able to do as an adult is really great. Oh and double-unders are cool.
My biggest challenge is getting there enough and on a consistent basis. I’m quick to let myself make excuses. But once I’m there, I hope to see my favorite movement on the board: deadlift!

My name is Lynne Griffith. I own a real estate title business and have been a member of CrossFit Torque since January 2011. I live with my hubby Paul and between us we have 7 grandchildren. I decided early on to be a grandmother that could do everything the kids love, instead of being just a spectator – so far so good.
1. What was it about CrossFit Torque that made you want to join?
I met former Coach Kenny and he became my personal trainer at another gym when I was just 59 years young. That’s when I met Don Chace, Amanda’s Dad, who also was training with Kenny. After the gym closed, we all went our separate ways, but just two years later I received a call from Kenny inviting me to come workout at CrossFit Torque, the gym Amanda Chace had just opened up. My first response was “I am 61 years old – that place will kill me.” Of course, I joined because I trusted Kenny would keep me safe. I still was scared to join, because I knew everyone would be younger than me.
2. What has kept you coming back to Torque day after day?
I loved the CrossFit workouts immediately! And CrossFit Torque became like a family to me. At first I was always the slowest runner, but when I saw the fastest runner finish ahead of me, and come back to run with me until I was done, I knew age was not a factor at this box. I even had friends finish the dreaded burpees with me. I knew I would be comfortable here forever.
3. What is your proudest accomplishment thus far?
I have a couple of special things that I reflect on that have made me proud. The day that I deadlifted 260 pounds, I was over the moon! I have also climbed to the top of the 15 foot rope with the best of them. And I loved kipping pull-ups, double-unders, partner workouts, and tire flips with my dear friend Valerie Grey!
4. What has been your biggest challenge?
My biggest challenge (besides overhead squats) at Torque has always been leaving my pride at the door, so a few times I would be out for a while, because I was trying to keep up with others, instead of focusing on myself!
6. What piece of advice would you give to someone who is looking to start CrossFit but hasn’t yet?
The best piece of advice I have (which I learned the hard way) is to leave that damn pride at the door, to keep yourself focusing on the bigger picture, and to be safe.
I turned 70 years young this summer and I have joined Amanda’s ForeverFit class, which was the best decision I have made. With the focus on Stretching and Balancing, she still provides a great workout at the end! I will be at CrossFit Torque until I am 80 years young, as the coaches are wonderful and caring and always have my back! This is an amazing place to be.

“In 2013 I broke my right arm and left wrist – at the same time – in a downhill mountain biking accident trying to keep up with my 16-year-old nephew; I was 48. The accident had a profound impact on my perception of mortality and virility. I felt helpless and vulnerable; and was going to be turning 50 soon – ugh.
I decided to embrace and celebrate this milestone with youthful vigor. I was going to begin my 51st year of life in the best physical shape I have ever been in. To achieve this I would need a valiant goal. How about becoming the fastest in my age group in Spartan Race? I signed up for 10 races, all at once, for the 2015 season. Now, how to prepare?
I had heard about CrossFit – my older sister was doing it out in Wyoming – and had seen Torque pop up next to Chace Building Supply, so I summoned my courage and decided to check it out. And it did take courage; I was uncertain, nervous, and way outside my comfort zone. But Jake – I think it was Jake, I at least want to believe it was Jake – he fits well in this story, the handsome young man that he is – who welcomed me, a vulnerable older guy, into the fold of Torque’s culture – I was hooked. So much so that Amanda and I worked together to provide CrossFit classes for my students at the time. Under Vanessa and Amanda’s coaching, my students and I enjoyed three 8-week sessions with Torque, and I went on to win Spartan races in my age group and became the #2 Spartan Race competitor in my age group – in the country – in 2017. I had achieved my goal of being in the best physical shape in my life at age 50 – and it was Torque, the people at Torque, coaches and athletes alike, who made it possible. Thank you all!
Although I’m not winning Spartan races anymore, my commitment to physical health and well being is unwavering and I attribute this to Torque. I am content on trying to master the stationery hand-stand; an incredible feat in itself, which feels great when I am able to hold it for more than five seconds.
Torque is woven into the fabric of my life. It’s become essential; someplace I consistently want to go, because what it does for me is, well, good. Thank you fellow athletes and coaches – you rock. Keep up the good work – and keep moving. “
